University major project with the goal of enabling psoriasis (an autoimmune skin condition) patients to maintain treatment on the go. Contains medicated treatments and a phototherapy/cooling device to treat individuals suffering from psoriasis. Convenient, lightweight and easy to use.
A highlight of my professional experience as a Design Engineer at Gtech was designing a lightweight hedge trimmer, battery and charger range of products. This project involved designing a compact and lightweight hedge trimmer that aligned with the companies existing garden tool range of products.
A university project involving a critical analysis and literature review of an existing product. Analysis of the Google Nest Hub revealed that older adults may struggle to use the Hub due to there needs not being met. A concept was designed to help remedy these issues with a more inclusive Google Nest Hub and a new Smart Wearable Device.
Organic form modelling and redesign university project aiming to exploit advanced 3D techniques. The aim of this assignment was to generate a high-quality assembly of an existing product using surface modelling techniques, which are based on 3D scan data of that existing product (power drill).
University/Gtech sponsored project with the aim of developing a support system to promote neutral posture when using garden tools. The new concept aims improve garden tool user experiences, enabling use of the product for hours while minimising fatigue and stress to the user.
